Originally established as an architectural firm, Campbell and Associates changed directions in 1974, when it was engaged by a major international machinery and equipment appraisal firm to assist in the analysis of process electrical and mechanical systems in industrial facilities.

Five years later Campbell and Associates had become one of the major appraisers of personal property for the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA).  Today Campbell and Associates provides appraisal and consultation to condemning authorities involved in eminent domain proceedings throughout the United States.

At the same time that Campbell and Associates was establishing its roots, asset based financing and leasing was also beginning a burgeoning expansion from that of a small regional group of financial institutions and banks to becoming commonplace in almost every lending institution in the country.

Campbell and Associates has been instrumental in this growth; not only by providing unbiased and independent appraisals, but also by providing consulting advice to lenders who are more familiar with the real estate industry and not the nuances involved in asset based financing.
